My grandmother lived with us and her bedroom was a masterpiece, decorated in ivory and violets, wood tones and metals. This beautiful lamp, topped with a linen lampshade (which did not withstand the years) stood on her night table chest for many years.
Possibly custom-fabricated, this perfectly proportioned, metal lamp may have been produced by a small studio. It was purchased from the interior designer who assisted my parents in the decor of their mid-century split level.
An early 1950's traditional candlestick lamp, not signed by any manufacturer, not mass-produced.
The lamp can be broken-down for very easy shipping. (see photo)
