Charles Field Haviland Limoges All White Porcelain Tortoise Box. Flower petals shaped shell lid. Specially crafted for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 1980s, this box is a vintage reproduction of the tortoise butter dish produced by Meissen Porcelain Factory in 1720s.

Very nice condition, 1/16" long visible scratch/black mark to the edge of the container (last photo). Minor stains and bottom wear.
