Nice vintage pair of hand crafted brown marble elephant bookends. These are hand carved and therefore not completely identical, "In Feng shui, the symbol of the elephant can bring energies of beauty, silent power, kindness, fertility, and majesty. In most Feng Shui applications, the elephants are usually depicted with the trunk down, symbolizing the showering of good health". Nice decorative hand-carved elephant sculptures. Made of a heavy stone marble. Handcrafted in Asia Circa 1950s.
