Blue lace agate is a variety of chalcedony. It is characterized by its soft blue bands creatng a lace-like pattern. This flattened round bottle tapers towards the base and ends in a small raised oval foot. It s has a round top and it is matched with a stopper of the same blue color , cork core and a metal spoon that is shaped like a hand. The snuff bottle's light periwinkle color, that is delicate. On one side of the bottle is a raised carving of an egret facing a tall lotus flower. On the other side are wavy parallel bands that resemble waves or clouds. The translucency of the stone adds to its beauty.

The pretty blue agate has some inclusions that is light brown in color, and these do not detract from the beauty of the bottle.
