Hand-painted Gerold Porzellan Bavaria porcelain egg-shaped trinket box made in Western Germany, signed "Faucett." The exterior features a ruby-throated hummingbird in flight with soft florals against a pale celadon ground, while the interior lid is decorated with loose yellow and green blossoms for a finished look inside and out.

The underside shows the Gerold Porzellan crowned Bavaria mark and separate "Made in Western-Germany" stamp, dating the piece to the mid-20th century. Presents in very good vintage condition with light age-appropriate wear at the rim and base; a charming accent for a vanity or bedside table and a sweet spot to tuck rings or small keepsakes.
