The dial is brass-toned and features a central printed graphic of a sailing vessel. It is configured with a 12-hour Arabic numeral track, an inner 24-hour track numbered 13 through 00, and an outer minute and second track with intervals numbered 5 through 60. The cardinal directions are marked N, E, S, and W. The dial is printed with black text reading SHIP'S TIME and QUARTZ. Time is indicated by black spade hour and minute hands and a red sweep second hand. The reverse side features a square quartz battery-operated movement and a keyhole mounting slot.
