A journey to the heart of the store's architecture, where each motif reflects the lively patterns of colors and light on the famous store's floor. A long, lavish voyage through time and legend. In homage to the mosaic which covers the floor of 24 Faubourg Saint-Honoré, the historic Hermès store, the geometric friezes in matte grey tones, enhanced with gold, play with the light. The striking pattern of interlocking platinum and grey geometric Greek friezes that rims each piece of Mosaique au 24 Limoges Porcelain dinnerware pays tribute to the historic Hermès shop by emulating its similarly patterned sandstone mosaic floor, which was designed by Henry Pannier for the store in 1926. In the center of the Mosaique Au 24 Platinum Dinnerware, a monogrammed “H” or Hermès ex-libris complete the design inspired by the Parisian store at 24, rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. This setting brings to your table shades of Greek classicism, modern sophistication, and contemporary design—all elements of the particular elegance that Hermes has come to represent.
