Modeled plaster of a medieval Architectural figure of a Nun in the period headdress. Studio work formed on a rebar post and mounted in a gothic-style solid woodblock plinth. Hand-made with adherence to the original fragment of stone architectural support. The plaster shows additional refining of the shape with repairs to the projection in the headdress as shown in detailed photos of the head from the side and top. The patina of oxidation on the surface. Noting the center of the top where the rebar rusting has reached. No marking of origin on the work. The size is 14.5" tall on the plinth, the plinth is 6.75" tall, and 5" by 5".
