Peter Keil is a German artist that focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats including Joan Miro, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, to name a few.

This is a phenomenal abstract portrait of Peter's friend and mentor, Andy Warhol. It is signed and dated "P. Keil '94" in the lower left corner and executed on a canvas-like cloth. Oftentimes, Peter painted on cloth he had before being able to afford canvas.

It is titled and signed with location, "'Andy Warhol', Peter Keil, Berlin" on the verso.
