This vintage piece features outfielder Carroll Hardy during his tenure with the Boston Red Sox. Part of the highly recognizable 1962 Topps Base Set, the card front features a distinctive, faux-woodgrain border design with a peeling corner graphic in the lower right displaying the player's name, team, and position. Hardy holds a unique place in baseball history as the only player ever to pinch-hit for the legendary Ted Williams.
