Moorish style early to mid 20th century of typical shape, resting on four bulbous wooden feet, the edges inlaid with triangular ivory tesserae, the lid and sides with geometric star motifs in a truly Hispano-Moresque, Nasrid revival style.
The Decorative box is intricately and finely inlaid in Islamic geometric designs with marquetry of precious wood decorated with Moorish motif designs which have been painstakingly inlaid with fruitwoods.
The Moorish box is decorated with mosaic marquetry with an inlaid geometric pattern in various colors.The top is hinged and opens to reveal a generous space lined in red felt.
