A Chinese hand-carved yumu wood accent yoke back chair with rattan seat, painted scenes and dark brown lacquered finish. This Chinese chair features a rectangular back topped with a slightly arched rail. Our eye is immediately drawn to the beautifully carved splat, accented with painted scenes of a bird and a landscape, along with delicately carved scrolled motifs on the sides. 

Two open arms showcasing a curving shape and strengthened by carved supports with floral motifs, flank a rectangular rattan seat. The chair is raised on a four straight legs, connected to one another through side stretchers of varying height, and accented by a discreet carved skirt on three sides.
