This Antique Chinese silk embroidered jacket dates from the 1900s. It is made of a black silk fabric background, with bright colorful silk embroidery work. There are embroidered symbols and peony flowers. This short jacket style robe has a mandarin collar neckline, with red trim edging and silk knotted button loop toggles for closure down the front. There are two embroidered silk tie panels hanging down the bottom front. It is fully lined in red silk. The jacket measures 25" long, with 17" bust. It is in excellent wearable condition. This is a wonderful piece of wearable Chinese art.
