A sculptural pair of vintage brass X-form drum tables or taboret stools, circa 1970s, closely associated with designs produced by Sarreid Ltd. Each compact cylindrical table features a solid circular brass top surrounded by a wide riveted band, with intersecting X-form supports creating an open lattice framework between the upper and lower rims. A rounded brass center band encircles each piece, reinforcing the striking drum-inspired silhouette. The warm aged brass surfaces display extensive natural patina, oxidation, scratches, spotting and tonal variation acquired over decades of use.
