Description
This group features a variety of geological specimens and potential lithic artifacts of diverse composition. The primary focus is a large, dark brown septarian concretion or nodule, split into two corresponding halves. The interior surfaces reveal a characteristic septarian pattern of intersecting, light-colored mineral veins, likely calcite, which form a geometric, turtle-back structure. The group also includes several smooth, water-worn river stones of varying hues, including one ovoid tan-colored stone and a smaller, mottled grey stone. Further included are two elongated, dark-toned lithic items: one small, polished, almond-shaped piece and a larger, tapered stone with a roughly hewn surface, exhibiting a celt-like form.Measurements/notes: Longest fossil 8 in.
