Two Indian hand-carved stone trinket boxes featuring decorative shell inlay. The first piece is a heart-shaped box crafted from a mottled tan and brown stone, possibly soapstone. The lid is decorated with a floral spray composed of pink and white shell petals set onto a dark stone stem with two leaves in light blue and pink stone or shell. The second piece is an octagonal box constructed from a dark, reddish-brown stone with lighter inclusions. The lid features three diagonal brass bands and a central floral motif inlaid with pink, white, and purple shell.
