This large circular brass serving tray features a raised rim and two integral scrolled handles secured to the body with heavy copper rivets. The tray is constructed from heavy-gauge brass. Centered on the interior surface is a stamped circular mark (photo 2). The mark consists of a circular border containing Cyrillic text in the upper arc which reads "??????? ??" followed by additional characters that are partially obscured and not clearly legible. The center of the stamp features a relief-molded Imperial Double-Headed Eagle crest, indicating Russian manufacture. The underside of the tray is plain with a recessed well and shows the reverse of the copper rivet attachments (photo 1).Measurements/notes: 17.5 in. round.
