Don Picou is a 20th-century Southern American artist celebrated for his evocative limited-edition serigraphs and prints capturing Louisiana's scenery and culture . Born in New Orleans in 1940, Picou grew up exploring the local landscapes, which profoundly shaped his creative output. He formalized his artistic career by studying and graduating from the prestigious John McCrady Art School in New Orleans
