The black dial carries three subsidiary registers with the thin hands found on early production of the reference, set in a steel Oyster case on a matching bracelet. Introduced in 2000, the 116520 was the first Daytona fitted with Rolex's in-house caliber 4130, a column-wheel chronograph movement with vertical clutch that replaced the Zenith-based caliber of the previous generation, and it remained in production until 2016.
