Unfired Ohio Ordnance Works M240-SLR 7.62 NATO New Old Stock w/ Factory Case

The Ohio Ordnance Works M240-SLR (Self-Loading Rifle) is a semi-automatic-only version of the M240 platform, chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO. Unlike the military M240, the M240-SLR was redesigned to operate from a closed bolt and incorporates redesigned internal components. The model was developed to retain the external dimensions and general appearance of the M240 while providing a semi-automatic configuration.

This example is presented as new old stock and comes complete with its original factory case. The rifle shows evidence of factory test firing, but otherwise little to no wear on the rifle overall. The M240-SLR is dimensionally similar to the M240 and was designed around the same general platform, making it an especially distinctive example of Ohio Ordnance Works' adaptation of the military-pattern design. Its new old stock condition and original factory case add considerable collector appeal to this uncommon semi-automatic belt-fed rifle.
