Condition Report:

Oil on canvas which is unlined with an artists’ suppliers stamp for P Shea. The canvas has minor undulations across the surface but the tension is sound. The paint layer is in a good stable condition overall. There is a hair caught in the paint surface at the right hand side. There are small touches of overpaint which appear to be mainly localised in the tree at the left hand side, these have darkened over time. The varnish is glossy ad yellowed with some uneven patches in the sky.
