Its woven with Point de L'halluin stitch. Made of wool, cotton and linen threads. Tapestry was produced in 1983. And is in nice previously owned condition.


"This tapestry depicts a detail from the historic LADY AND THE UNICORN tapestry masterwork at the Cluny Museum, Paris. It was woven on special jacquard looms in Halluin, France, of wool, cotton and linen threads in over two hundred colors. The stitch in the unique "Point De l'Halluin," awarded a medal of achievement by the president of France. Further, this is one of eight tapestries composing a collection being issued in a worldwide limited edition of ten thousand."
