Hand-crafted shard or pill / trinket box made out of a Paktong alloy and created to fit a piece of porcelain shard that acts as the lid. The lid is quite decorative and portrays an exotic emerald green bird with a long tail amongst branches - lime green and emerald green. White background. All the sides are decorated with scroll work. Useful mirror inside the lid.
Each box is individually handmade to fit the broken piece.

In the Cultural Revolution in the 1960's, China's Red Guard destroyed many antiques including Chinese porcelain vases and the like, this may be well from that era. A little piece of history.
