A vintage Chinese shell inlay trinket box, jewelry casket, or glasses case, mid to late 20th century. It features iridescent natural shell carved into an intricate vignette showing birds on flower-covered branches. The box itself is made of lacquered plastic and has a mirror and velvet lining to the interior.
