This pair of mid-20th century artisan studio pottery sculptures features organic geometric forms in deep oxblood red and warm clay tan brown. Each piece is hand-shaped, hollow, and emits a subtle rattle when moved - a hallmark of modern sound sculpture design. Both carry a distinctive palm-tree maker's mark on the base, suggesting small-studio or individual artist production. Their minimalist silhouettes and tactile finishes lend an earthy yet sophisticated presence to any modern or organic interior.
This is a harmonious artisan pair that blends sculptural form, tone, and sound - evocative of the modernist studio pottery movement.
