Lovely vintage 1960s wool needlepoint bell pull with ornate brass ends features a soft green background and four baskets of flowers, alternating yellow and pink hues. The backing is a dark olive green cotton velveteen fabric. The bell pull hangs from the top loop (pictured hanging from a nail in the wall).

This elegant vintage needlepoint adds a touch of Old World charm and warmth wherever it hangs.

The bell pull is 33 inches long from the very top of the top loop to the bottom of the loop where a bell would traditionally hang. The area of the needlepoint (including the brass hardware minus the loops) is 27 inches long and 6.5 inches wide.

The bell pull will be rolled up for shipping, so some wrinkles may result. If necessary, the best way to remove them is by careful steaming. Do not apply an iron or a steamer directly to the needlepoint; instead, hold the steamer or iron a couple of inches above the wrinkled area for a few seconds. Use a wool setting if you're using an iron. Do not iron the velveteen on the back because ironing could crush the pile.

The second is that there are approximately five stitches missing from the top yellow basket of flowers. You can see the area in the center of the last photo, which shows a closeup of the stitching. It's barely noticeable; in fact, I had this bell pull hanging in my foyer for a couple of years, but I did not notice the missing stitches until I took photos of it for this listing.
