The relief depicts an allegorical tableau with classically rendered figures, a white horse, camel, palm trees, vessels, and a distant ship, giving the work a strong Grand Tour character.

The composition is distinguished by its depth and sculptural clarity. Figures and forms project from the surface with notable dimensionality, creating impressive architectural impact on the wall. Soft hand-applied tones in bronze, blush, cream, and pale aqua lend subtle variation to the drapery, vessels, and landscape, while the pale ceramic surface gives the piece a carved-stone effect.
