This lovely vintage California Pottery planter/cache pot is hand-painted by California artist Vee Jackson. It features a hand-painted yellow floral design, possibly canna lilies, on a fluted or scalloped ceramic body.

The Artist:
Vee Jackson was a notable designer in the Mid-Century Modern era, operating out of San Gabriel and later Pasadena, CA. She was active between 1940-1966. Her work is characterized by detailed hand-crafted florals, leaves, and sometimes 3D-applied elements like pinecones or magnolias with gold accents.
