This sauce boat with attached underplate was made by the Alfred Meakin Co. in their Medway Decor pattern that they produced circa 1950's in Staffordshire England. The Medway Decor pattern is a lovely Tunstall transferware design done by hand under the glaze featuring lovely flowers and butterflies motif around the entire piece. This sauce boat with attached underplate measures 7 1/2" wide by 3" tall by 2 1/2" deep and it is in "Pristine Condition" no chips, no cracks, no repairs, no crazing to the glaze, and very little wear to the piece for the age of it.
