This authorized reproduction print from the National Palace Museum in Taipei, Taiwan, is of the painting "Pair of Mandarin Ducks on an Autumn Bank" by the monk Huichong (965-1017) created during the Song Dynasty. The reproduction was available during the Museum exhibit "Of a Feather Flocking Together" in January to March 2019 when the original Huichong painting was displayed. The reproduction print is of high quality on a silky finish art paper. It resides in a sturdy folded portfolio with a gold and teal silky brocade fabric on the outside and brass metal corners. The portfolio can be used for a desktop or shelf display. The print is in excellent condition with no marks or tears. There is an indentation in the outer cover on the fabric side near a corner as shown in the pictures.
Huichong was one of the "Nine Monks of the early Song Dynasty" and is credited with creating small scene painting within Chinese art.
