Late 19th Century Velvet Victorian Chair set. Captains chair has unique arm details. Handsome proportions as well as Burl wood accents on both chairs. These chairs present with a rich deep red velvet upholstery. Original wood wheels and detailed woodwork.

Condition Notes: These chairs are solid without racking and have few scratches or dings in the woodwork. The velvet
fabric is probably original and has some residual light looking areas that I believe was a water mark that could probably be removed with professional cleaning. There is a small burn mark on the captains chair left arm as well as a small 'gap' in the left side on the back of the captains chair. None of these imperfections greatly reduces the overall high quality of the hardwood chairs. Finally, the finish on the chairs is very good so it is possible that someone refinished them at some point, I do not know.
