Made for the dining room by Ethan Allen for both its Royal Charter and Canterbury Oak collections, this country Chippendale style oak side chair features EA's #240 "Coventry" finish - a reddish brown color with a soft glow. The seat was professionally reupholstered in 2018 in a blue, tan and off white plaid fabric. The slip seat removes easily to receive the new fabric of your choice. Purchased new in the 1980s, this one-owner chair has seen regular use at the desk in a home office/library. EA's Royal Charter and Canterbury Oak collections feature factory-applied distressing to resemble the appearance of handmade English antiques. Additional blemishes from household use just blend in.
