This is a rare original Victorian antique Heywood Brothers and Wakefield Company ladies side chair made c. 1900. It is ornate with wicker wrapped tapered legs and back rails, curlicues, scrolls, beadwork, star-caned back panel and a cane seat (it is a replacement.) the fancy chair has been painted white, but is in excellent sturdy condition.
