A one-of-a-kind statement piece for anyone who loves rich, old-world carving. This two-part cabinet pairs an open display top with a closed storage base - beautiful and useful.

The upper section is fully open, backed in a cheerful mustard-and-red floral fabric. The repeating motif consists of small paisley-like or teardrop-shaped elements in dusty pink and cream tones, each accented with sprays of olive-green and golden-brown foliage that curl around them, reminiscent of Victorian or Georgian-era decorative fabrics often used to line antique cabinets and chests. The interior horizantal and vertical corners and sides are finished with a scalloped style trim in a golden-brown shade.

The upper cabinet has three shelves each fronted by hand-turned spindle galleries (think mini balustrades) that keep displayed pieces from sliding off while adding tons of character. The crown is deeply carved with a scalloped leaf motif and studded in brass.

Down below, a single drawer with a ring pull sits above a paneled door carved with a bold diamond-and-scroll design - the kind of detail you just don't see on new furniture. Vine-and-leaf carving runs the full height of the sides, tying the whole piece together.
