This is a pickled teak sofa with purple leather cushions, produced sometime in the 1970s.

At first glance one may mistake this for bamboo or rattan, but its so much more special than that.

Its silhouette almost evokes Deco with its wide-swept Empire-like attributes, but its three piece configuration renders it a little more laid back.

There are three separate pieces that push together to compose the sofa as shown.

The structure has plywood seats that were placed over the original springs, and the cushions would be quite easy to reupholster if so desired.

This sofa measures 30 inches deep, 83 inches wide, and 29.5 inches high.
