Vintage Rosenthal Trivet - Asian Style Hand Painted Porcelain

Description

Here's a very unusual vintage Rosenthal trivet hand painted with an Asian theme. The scene features a woman wearing a plain color kimono, holding an umbrella and greeting a person with her head bowed under a hat and with a long pigtail queue. In the background is another person with long hair.

Measures 6-1/2" diameter. Marked on the bottom with the green Rosenthal crown logo, Rosenthal, Selb Bavaria - IRIS. Also has a partial signature (see photo).

The style of the woman's kimono has a 1930s-style look.

Condition: Very good condition. No chips or cracks. Minor wear to the paint on the rim.
