Vintage 1960's hand painted Japanese porcelain Imari pattern charger. The charger has a pointed scalloped rim. It is decorated with gold accents, deep red and deep blue alternating panels with white cartouches of stylized birds and florals. The charger's center is decorated with a floral and leaf designs. This Imari pattern would add a rich colorful accent to a traditional, transitional or contemporary setting.
