This is an antique (1800's) mulberry flow-black transfer ware ironstone plate. It was made by Podmore Walker, and is signed on the back with the Washington Vase design name. It truly is a striking piece of ironstone. I'm reducing my collection, but it might make a nice addition to yours!

Condition Notes: There is a couple spots on the edge of the plate that have some fading, and you will see three small raised bumps. I also detected a scratch from a knife or fork (had to lean in close and tilt the plate to see), but that's to be expected for the age of this piece.
