Reminiscent of the peaceful waves of the Mediterranean Sea, this gorgeous hand blown undulating teal blue amphora vase brings endless visual pleasure to the collector. The word amphora dates back to the Greek era. The name refers to the amphi-phoreus meaning "carried on both sides." The origins developed in the Eastern Mediterranean on the north Lebanese-Syrian coastal region around the fifteenth century BC and were adopted by the Phoenicians and the Greeks.
