JL George Mid Century Bench/ Stool/ Foot Stool/ Ottoman

I believe the base wood may be rosewood that was painted yellow, since everything else JL George designed in my home is rosewood.
Made in Hong Kong- 1965 ish
Very solid , wasn't really used, just stayed in the corner of the dressing room
