The rare antiquarian book, La Plante et Ses Applications Ornementales with Art Nouveau Aesthetic Movement is a compendium of floral botanical illustrations by nine artists, originally published in 1896 under the direction of Eugene Grasset. This is an art lithograph print of one of the original plates, titled "Umbellated Rush". Main colors are yellow, green, blue and orange. Artist is Die Binsenblume, as seen at bottom left.

The piece is in very nice vintage, near perfect, condition with just a small trace of light toning around the edges. And because this was originally bound in a portfolio, the left-hand binding side may have some very slight irregularities. We make mention only for accuracy's sake, as framing will likely cover any signs of age that may be present. Please review photos.

Entire sheet measures 11" wide x slightly less than 15" tall. Side edge borders outside double black lines are 1" each long side, 0.5" at top edge, and 1.25" at bottom edge including the titling in English, French and German.
