Authentic unusual antique large oblong hand carved wood bread dough trough. Each end of the bowl has a small square ear handle, and each long side of the bowl has a carved notch for the handle of a utensil. An old shrinkage crack in the wood has a "make-do" repair that was done long ago with a strip of metal, adding a great deal of charm to the piece. This will make a very striking fruit bowl or table centerpiece, also great vessel to arrange all your knitting yarn.
