Early 20th Century French Louis XIII Style Stool

Description

A French stool in the style of Louis XIII but dating from the beginning of the 20th century. The frame features the turned knob stretchers and legs typical of the Louis XIII period. The frame is a mix of pine and beech and has been cleaned and waxed but the finish is original. The cushion is newly upholstered using a natural linen and cotton blend fabric accented with antique brass finish dome head nails around the bottom perimeter.
