Shiny chrome nail heads surround the inside seat backs. These chairs make an immediate statement. They are welcoming and extremely comfortable. Can be placed in an entryway on either side of a console. In a living room, study, family room, home office, etc. Extremely versatile in terms of design. Although they say "contemporary" I can see them used in a transitional setting as well.
