Art Brut Brass wire formed Bonsai Pine Tree. Welded and soldered twisted trunk and limbs of an ancient tree in a Bonsai Tray. The original ceramic planter is missing but the cast shape remains as the balance to the asymmetrical twisting of the tree. The size of the base is 9" by 6.75" and 13.25" tall. The tree's overall spread is 13" by 15". The original brass wires open up and spread out to be a full foliage effect, though many have not been opened to full display. The bark is solid cast brass and is very weighty. Very good condition.
