Description

Vintage Chinoiserie silk painting featuring a colorful peacock perched on a branch with red maple leaves. In Chinese art, the peacock symbolizes beauty, nobility, rebirth, and wealth. The vibrant plumage of the peacock is meticulously detailed, showcasing the intricate techniques of Chinese silk painting. Beautiful shades of peacock blue, green, and red adorn an antique coppery gold silk fabric. The silk painting is framed in a gold wood frame with a hand-painted gold mat. Overall measurements are 14"w x 11.5"h x 0.75"d. The art measures 7" x 5"h. The artwork is signed within the leaves on the bottom right, see photo.
