Pair of vintage Breuner's wood block children wall art. These collectible pieces feature watercolor illustrations of child characters from the Miss Flora McFlimsey Series dressed in old-fashioned attire mounted on square wooden block frames with gold rims.

Ichabod - little boy in black hat
Susannah - little girl in red dress.

The Miss Flora McFlimsey story originates from an 1857 poem by American humorist William Allen Butler. The character was later featured in a doll with accessories at a Sanitary Fair in Philadelphia during the Civil War and became the inspiration for children's books written and illustrated by American author and illustrator Mariana Foster Curtiss (1909-1978).
