Description
Very unusual, hand painted Noritake nut dish set. Master bowl with five personal dishes. Originally the set would have contained six personal dishes. The back stamp used is the MM-19 mark, which was used between 1918 and 1941. This mark indicates that the pieces were decorated at the main factory in Nagoya. The quality of the workmanship is exquisite! Condition is excellent, no chips cracks or signs of repair. On the more plain side of the master bowl there is a drop of the yellowish paint, it is not a defect.
Stunning, stylized botanical motif. Perfect accent for a bar cart.
