Vintage studio glass vase designed by Martin Freyer for Rosenthal Studio Line for his 'Striated Series' line of the 1960's, and features a heavy clear glass body with vertically ribbed, undulating walls and a subtly irregular rim, a strong example of late modernist European glass design from the 1960s era. The piece is signed on the base and has excellent visual weight and presence, suitable as a standalone sculptural object or functional vase. The vase is in very good vintage condition with light surface wear and minor internal inclusions consistent with studio glass production and age, with no chips or cracks observed. It measures approximately 12 inches tall, 10.25 inches wide, and 4.5 inches deep.
