Make a striking, maximalist statement with this one-of-a-kind bespoke accent lamp. Built upon a vintage molded resin elephant base by CBK, this piece has been expertly reimagined and finished in a brilliant, ultra-sleek white lacquer. The high-gloss treatment beautifully accentuates the sculpted details of the elephant's decorative caparison and structural pedestal, channeling a classic Blanc de Chine aesthetic with a fresh, contemporary punch.Complementing the base is a custom-made empire lampshade, finished in a matching high-gloss kelly green lacquer. The bottom rim is adorned with a playful, multi-colored fringe of luxury tassel trim, bridging the gap between classic Hollywood Regency charm and vibrant, global boho-eclectic style.Designed very much in the spirit of iconic Florida resort aesthetics, this piece evokes the playful sophistication of The Colony Hotel Palm Beach lobby and captures the pattern-layered, high-impact whimsey frequently showcased at the Palm Beach Kips Bay Decorator Show House. Equal parts sculptural art and functional lighting, this vibrant piece adds an unmistakable layer of designer personality to any entryway, library, or living room.
